Job Description
The Opportunity:
SunPork Group is Australia's leading farmer-owned and operated pork producer, committed to producing high-quality Australian pork while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and safety.
We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our South Australian Maintenance Team, supporting the electrical operation of our piggery farms.
This hands-on role will see you carrying out preventative maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repairs and installations across a range of farm equipment and automated systems, including feeding, ventilation, pumps, motors and environmental controls. You'll work across multiple farm sites to ensure our operations continue to run safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across piggery farms.
Diagnose and repair faults on farm equipment and automated systems.
Maintain feeding, ventilation, water and environmental control systems.
Install and commission electrical equipment and infrastructure.
Complete inspections, testing and maintenance documentation.
Ensure all work complies with electrical regulations and safety standards.
Travel between farm sites as required and participate in an on-call roster.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Current Electrical Licence and Trade Qualification.
Experience in industrial, agricultural or manufacturing environments.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with motors, pumps, switchboards and control systems.
Current Driver's Licence.
A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Experience with PLCs and automation.
Agricultural or livestock industry experience.
High Risk Work Licences (Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights).
