We are currently seeking three experienced Senior Stockpersons to join our team at Grong Grong Piggery. These are full-time positions offering stable employment, career growth opportunities, and accommodation options for the right candidates.
About the Role
As a Senior Stockperson, you will be responsible for the daily care and management of livestock while supporting site operations and maintaining high standards of animal welfare and production performance.
You will play an important leadership role within the team, helping to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and safely while contributing to the overall success of the farm.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily care and monitoring of livestock
- Animal health observations and reporting
- Administering treatments as directed
- Monitoring feed and water systems
- Maintaining animal welfare standards
- Supporting breeding and production activities
- Accurate record keeping and data collection
- Maintaining site cleanliness and biosecurity requirements
- Assisting with training and mentoring team members
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
Roster
Monday to Friday
Every Third Weekend
- Saturday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
- Sunday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Minimum 3 years' experience working within a piggery or intensive livestock environment
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong understanding of animal welfare and husbandry practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Commitment to maintaining high biosecurity and safety standards
- Reliable and positive attitude
