Opportunity
We are seeking a Feedmill Operator to join our Brinkley Feedmill team. This is an entry-level role suited to someone practical, reliable and willing to learn.
You'll be trained to safely operate plant and equipment used in stockfeed manufacturing while supporting production targets and maintaining hygiene and quality standards. The role involves monitoring machinery, checking systems and assisting with general production tasks to keep the mill running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate feedmill plant and equipment used in stockfeed production
- Monitor machinery and report any faults or irregularities
- Assist with basic troubleshooting within your skill level
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of work areas
- Follow FeedSafe procedures, work instructions and safety processes
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production schedules
About You
This role suits someone who enjoys practical work and wants to build skills in manufacturing or agriculture. No prior feedmill experience is required - attitude and reliability matter most.
You will bring:
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a hands-on, physical environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude (helpful but not essential)
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
A forklift licence is a bonus, but not essential
